Royal makes Autoclave Horizontal are double/ triple walled units. The outer body of our autoclave is constructed out of thick gauge stainless steel sheet of SS-304 grade. The inner chamber is also made of heavy gauge stainless steel sheet of SS-304 grade. The middle wall is also constructed from the strong and sturdy stainless steel sheet of ss-304 grade s stainless steel sheet.

• Supporting Ring & Legs are made up of Stainless Steel.
• Heater cover with stand.
• A bucket is made of Stainless Steel Sheet.
• A lid is made of thick machined Stainless Steel plate lined with Stainless Steel from inside.
• A lid is fitted with Pressure Gauge, Spring Loaded Safety Valve, Manual
• Exhaust Valve, and water level indicator.
• Drain Valve facilitates easy cleaning of the chamber.
• Fitted with the silicon rubber gasket.
• All internal joints are argon arc welded.
• Pressure Control Switch and Low Water Level Cut-Off system for the general safety of the element.

Product Details:

The Horizontal Autoclave from Royal Scientific Works is a heavy-duty, steam-sterilization unit engineered for large-volume sterilization of medical, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and industrial loads. Its main sterilization chamber is constructed from high-grade stainless steel (inner and outer surfaces), ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and hygiene compliance. The horizontal-chamber design allows loading of bulky or multiple items — such as surgical instruments, glassware, textiles, lab apparatus, or waste — making it suitable for hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical labs, and research facilities. The unit operates by saturating steam under pressure, typically reaching sterilization temperatures in the range of 121 °C to 134 °C (or more depending on model), under pressure thresholds commonly around 15 – 20 psi (or ~0.22 MPa).

The autoclave is equipped with standard safety and operational features: a pressure-gauge, steam-release / safety valve, vacuum breaker or steam-trap valve (where applicable), water-level indicator / low-water cut-off, and a secure door lock or interlock system that prevents opening while chamber pressure is high — ensuring safe operation under steam pressure. For convenience and reliability, control systems may include a digital temperature/pressure controller (or microprocessor/PLC-based controller), timer controls, and automatic shut-off or alarm in case of over-pressure, over-temperature, or low water. Insulation jackets (or double/triple wall construction) help minimize heat loss and improve energy efficiency.
